A Childhood Marked by Pain, Not Play

Kiran Nag has lived with suffering since the day she was born. A congenital facial deformity near her left nose and lower eyelid has caused her constant pain, discomfort, and emotional trauma. While other children grew up laughing and playing, Kiran grew up hearing whispers, facing stares, and learning what cruelty feels like far too early. But her story is not just about medical pain. It is about a life built on abandonment and struggle.

A Mother Lost in Her Own World. A Father Who Walked Away.

Kiran’s mother lives with severe mental illness and is unable to understand even basic conversations. She cannot take care of herself, let alone her daughter. Her father left soon after realising the reality of the family. He never returned. He never asked. He never cared. From that moment, Kiran and her brother were all they had.

Kiran’s older brother was still a child when he was forced to become the man of the house. He works as a daily wage labourer whenever he can find work. He visits home once in one or two months carrying whatever little he earns. On all the other days, this family survives by working on other peoples land for daily wages. There is no childhood. There is no stability. Only survival.

A Face That Hurts. A Future That Feels Unreachable.

Kiran’s condition has worsened over the years. Her left eye is affected. Her breathing is uncomfortable. Her daily life is full of pain. She cannot study. She cannot work. She cannot go out without hiding her face. She dreams of a life where people look at her with kindness, not pity. A life where she can stand on her own feet and become more than her struggle.

The Treatment She Needs Can Change Her Entire Life

Doctors at SK Care Hospital have recommended immediate multi stage surgical treatment that can repair her congenital deformity and restore her facial structure. This includes ICU care, medicines, investigations, surgeries, and skin graft procedures. This treatment can give Kiran her life back. It can give her dignity and hope that she has never known. But her family has nothing. Not a single rupee to spare. They cannot even afford bus fare to the hospital. The cost of treatment is far beyond anything they have ever seen.

Kiran has waited all her life for someone to stand for her. Today, you can be that person.
